When to Book
We would generally advise booking at least six months in advance. However, if your event is on a Friday,
Saturday or Sunday between May and October, it is advisable to book before September of the previous year.
There are often free dates still available though, so please do enquire.
How to Book
To make an enquiry about fees or availability, please use the Enquiry Form
on this site, or contact us via email or phone. We can send you information by email and/or by post, including a booking form.
If there is anything you forget to ask, or you wish to make other requests, feel free to contact us at any time.
Once you have decided to proceed with a booking, you will need to contact us, and pay a deposit.
The exact times need not be decided upon at this stage, or the music to be played, but the date needs to be definite!
Contact us by phone or e-mail to check that we are still available
for the date, and to confirm that you wish to go ahead.
Please send a booking form within 7 days confirming your contact details, the event date, venue,
times (if known) and, if a wedding, the names of the bride and groom. Enclose with the booking form
your deposit cheque. Cheques should be made out to `Musica Viva`.
Please note that the deposit must be paid within 7 days of agreeing the booking. We receive a
large number of enquiries every week, and regret that we cannot reserve dates indefinitely.
We will send you a copy of our `agreement` which is also a receipt for your deposit. If you
do not receive this, please let us know immediately.
If you have particular requests for music that you wish us to play, please arrange that with
us at least one month before the event.
The balance should be paid by cheque at least 7 days prior to the event.
